Medieval Fairs, Markets & Events 2012

Medieval Fairs and Markets take place across Spain throughout the year, many in towns with a strong medieval connection . As well as stalls selling traditional medieval fare ( cheese, sausages, wine, honey etc.) staffed by stall holders in medieval dress, you can also enjoy traditional entertainment like jugglers, musicians and puppeteers, not to mention archery and jousting tournaments. Some towns also stage re-enactments of historical battles between the Moorish and Christian armies.
